Angelus Collector Edition Thunder Yellow 1oz

With our Angelus Collector Edition Thunder Yellow 1oz leather paint, there is a wide range of iconic trainer colours to choose from. With this paint, you can, for example, easily touch up damage on your favourite pair of trainers to make them look new again. It is also a great opportunity to match your trainers to existing clothing items in the same signature colour(s), such as belts and watch straps. Is a specific shoe no longer available from your favourite brand, or do you just want a different set of colours on a pair you already own? Then use a white trainer as a base and customise it with the Collectors Edition Angelus leather paint. Quickly and easily achieve a beautiful result, which you can also enjoy for a long time. Because Angelus leather paint is elastic, the paint layer will neither flake nor crack. Do you want to ensure the perfect adhesion of the paint to the leather? Then use our specially developed Angelus Preparer and Deglazer beforehand to easily remove grease, dirt and any old factory finisher!

Applying Angelus Collector Edition Thunder Yellow 1oz

Applying Angelus Collector Edition Thunder Yellow 1oz leather paint? If you follow the steps below, you will have the best results:

  • Before painting, make the product dust- and grease-free and remove the factory finisher (if any). For this, it is best to use our Preparer and Deglazer.
  • Apply the first layer evenly (and not too thick!). Let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Apply subsequent coats thinly as well. Does the paint cover the surface sufficiently and achieve the desired result? Then wait at least 24 hours until using the painted item again.
  • You can use a finisher, ranging from matt to high gloss, for the best results.

How much Angelus Collector Edition Thunder Yellow 1oz leather paint do I need?

    • A small 29.5 ml bottle contains enough paint for a pair of leather shoes.
    • With the large 118 ml version, you can dye a car seat or dining room chair made of leather.
    • For a small two-seat sofa, use 4 bottles of 118 ml each of leather paint as a rule.
    • The amount of Preparer and Deglazer and finisher needed is normally half the amount of paint used.

You have questions? We have answers.

  • Q. For how long does the paint need to dry?

    A. We recommend letting each thin coat dry for 10-25 minutes; the final coat should be left to dry for 24 hours before applying finishers.

  • Q. How can I reduce the glossiness of the paint?

    A. The Angelus Duller was developed to specifically reduce glossiness in leather paint. Before painting, it is both easy and quick to mix the Duller with your leather paint to get a more matt finish.

  • Q. How much paint should I use?

    A. This depends on the size, type, and intended use of the item you are going to paint. A pair of shoes such as trainers can be painted with three thin coats using one 29.5 ml jar.

  • Q. Is applying a white coat of paint necessary before doing anything else?

    A. Even though Angelus Leather Paint has great opacity, lightening dark-coloured leather can be tricky. We thus recommend applying a coat of white leather paint first, to ensure the best colour quality.

  • Q. Should I apply the leather paint in several coats?

    A. Yes, always apply the paint in several layers using thin coats. An excessively thick coat of paint will not remain elastic, resulting in cracks and tears.
